The Department of Agriculture Rural Business Cooperative Services awarded $340,197.47 to Paseo Cargill Energy LLC on January 22, 2026, under the Bioenergy Program for Advanced Biofuels (CFDA 10.867) to support advanced biofuel production. The award funds production of advanced biofuels derived from renewable biomass sources in solid, liquid, or gaseous forms for use as transportation fuel alternatives. Performance occurred in Missouri. Funding was obligated based on documented quarterly production volumes converted to British Thermal Unit values. The award has an ultimate completion date of January 23, 2026. The program provides payments to eligible advanced biofuel producers to support and ensure expanding production of advanced biofuels derived from renewable biomass other than corn kernel starch. Applications are accepted annually from October 1 through October 31. Recipients submit quarterly requests for payment with documentation of production, which is converted to BTU values and used to calculate award funding.
