The CoC Program provides funding to nonprofit providers, states, and local governments to establish and operate projects that quickly house homeless individuals and families while minimizing trauma and dislocation caused by homelessness. Under this award, Cohhio will deliver services across one or more of the CoC Program's five authorized components: permanent housing (including permanent supportive housing for persons with disabilities and rapid rehousing), transitional housing, supportive services only, Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS), and homelessness prevention. Eligible activities supported by this funding include CoC planning activities, fiscal control and accounting functions, acquisition and rehabilitation of real property for housing or supportive services, new construction, rental assistance, case management, and operating costs.
