This $634,162 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program project grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (CFDA 14.267) on March 11, 2025 to Care Plus NJ Inc. will fund activities to quickly house homeless individuals and families in the Paramus, NJ area. The grant supports a range of eligible activities under the CoC Program, including permanent housing, transitional housing, supportive services, homeless management information systems (HMIS), and homelessness prevention. Through this funding, Care Plus NJ Inc. will implement community-based strategies to decrease homelessness, reduce time spent homeless, prevent returns to homelessness, and help individuals and families experiencing homelessness achieve greater self-sufficiency. The sub-recipient activities are currently unknown. The CoC Program aims to promote a collaborative, community-wide approach to ending homelessness by providing critical funding and support to nonprofit providers, state and local governments.
