The Department of Housing and Urban Development's Assistant Secretary for Community Planning and Development awarded Habcore, Inc. $2,478,304 under the Continuum of Care Program (CFDA 14.267) on February 1, 2026. The award funds homelessness intervention and housing support services with a period of performance through January 31, 2027, performed in Eatontown, New Jersey. Habcore delivers case management, housing counseling, rental assistance, job training, mental health and substance abuse treatment, street outreach, and homelessness diversion across five eligible program components: permanent supportive housing and rapid rehousing for persons with disabilities, transitional housing, supportive services only, Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS) operations, and homelessness prevention activities. The Continuum of Care Program promotes community-wide commitment to ending homelessness by providing funding to nonprofit providers, states, and local governments to quickly house homeless individuals and families while minimizing trauma and dislocation, promoting access to mainstream programs, and optimizing self-sufficiency.
