ACTIVITIES PERFORMED TWO APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS ARE IMPLEMENTED DESIGNED TO PREPARE PARTICIPANTS FOR CAREERS IN NURSING. TWO LOCAL HEALTHCARE EMPLOYERS SUPPORT CAREER PATHWAYS TO PROMOTE OPPORTUNITIES FOR EARN AND LEARN APPRENTICESHIPS AND PAID TECHNICAL COLLEGE TUITION IN SERVICE OF HIGH-QUALITY EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES FOR YOUTH. DELIVERABLES ENROLL A MINIMUM OF 220 ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED YOUTH OF COLOR AGES, 16-24, INTO PRE-APPRENTICESHIP AND APPRENTICESHIPS PROGRAMS THAT WILL LEAD TO 160 ANTICIPATED PARTICIPANTS GAINING EMPLOYMENT AS LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES (LPN).
