OPIOID RESPONSE & TRAINING PROGRAM - THE PROPOSED OPIOID RESPONSE AND TRAINING PROGRAM THROUGH BENNINGTON RESCUE IS A SERIES OF TARGETED INITIATIVES TO IMPROVE THE CAPACITY AND CAPABILITIES OF EMS RESPONSE TO SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER AND MENTAL HEALTH EMERGENCIES. THIS PROGRAM TARGETS RURAL BENNINGTON COUNTY IN THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE STATE OF VERMONT WITH AN ESTIMATED POPULATION OF 37,235. THIS PROGRAM USES A COMBINATION OF EDUCATION, EQUIPMENT, AND PARTNERSHIP TO IMPROVE OUTCOMES.
