These goals and their supporting objectives and activities align with the goals of the funding opportunity. SACADA will work in partnership with community medical services - a licensed treatment facility, that provides a continuum of care for OUD treatment that includes medication-assisted treatment services using methadone and suboxone (BUPRENORPHINE). SACADA will refer participants to CMS for the treatment component of the program, which includes on-site medical screenings, assessment, counseling, case management, nursing, doctor's visits, urine drug screening and medication dispensing and titration. SACADA will provide the recovery support service component to include initial screening and assessment, followed by opioid overdose reversal education and referral. Staff will ensure participants receive trauma-informed care, evidence-based interventions, including motivational interviewing, recovery coaching, comprehensive case management and seeking safety based on individualized needs identified.
