WITH THE INCREASE IN SUBSTANCE USE DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE CONSORTIUM NOW, MORE THAN EVER, NEEDS TO IMPLEMENT WORK BEGUN UNDER THE RCORP PLANNING GRANT. GRANT FUNDING IS CRITICAL BECAUSE CONSORTIUM MEMBERS DO NOT HAVE FUNDING, STAFF, OR OTHER INFRASTRUCTURE TO DEDICATE EXCLUSIVELY TO COORDINATED EFFORTS FOR SCREENING, INTERVENTION AND REFERRAL, WORKFORCE EDUCATION, DATA, TRAINING, AND TOOLKIT DEVELOPMENT TO IMPLEMENT A REGIONAL RESPONSE TO SUD/OUD AND ADDRESS STIGMA ASSOCIATED WITH SUD/OUDS.
