The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded a $216,379 Continuum of Care Program (CFDA 14.267) grant to ACE Opportunities Inc., a non-profit organization in Largo, FL. This Project Grant will enable ACE Opportunities to deliver outreach, emergency shelter, transitional housing, permanent supportive housing, and homelessness prevention services. As a HUD grantee, ACE Opportunities utilizes the federal funding to provide these services aimed at quickly rehousing homeless individuals and families while minimizing trauma, promoting access to mainstream resources, and fostering self-sufficiency. This award builds upon over $840,000 in prior Continuum of Care grants provided to ACE Opportunities from 2019-2023 to address homelessness in the local community. ACE Opportunities has also received HUD Community Development Block Grants to support its homelessness services and has partnered with Pasco County as a subrecipient on emergency shelter, transitional housing, and prevention projects.
