The Federal Emergency Management Agency awarded a $386,820 project grant to the International Documentary Association on September 14, 2022 under the Financial Assistance for Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention grant program (CFDA 97.132).
The grant will support the International Documentary Association's efforts to increase awareness in Los Angeles, California around the signs of escalating violence and threats of targeted violence and terrorism as outlined in the six objectives of the Financial Assistance for Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention program. This includes raising local community awareness of risk factors for radicalization to violence and available intervention programs. The nearly $387,000 in funding will allow the International Documentary Association to deliver programs and services over the grant period to address these objectives in Los Angeles.
