THE EXECUTION OF THESE TRAINING INITIATIVES POSITIVELY IMPACTS GMHA STRATEGIC GOAL TO ?ACHIEVE FINANCIAL VIABILITY? AND IMPROVE CRITICAL CASH FLOWS TO SUSTAIN THE HOSPITAL?S OPERATIONS ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED: THE PROJECT INCLUDES MOSTLY SELF-PACED ONLINE TRAINING COURSES, WEBINARS, AND OFF-ISLAND TRAINING PRIMARILY FROM NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS THE AAPC, AHIMA, AMBA, HFMA, NAHAM, AND COMPTIA. TO BE CERTIFIED, OUR EMPLOYEES WILL HAVE TO COMPLETE A COURSE OR SERIES OF COURSES RANGING FROM PATIENT ACCESS, HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT, UTILIZATION REVIEW, CLINICAL DOCUMENTATION, CHARGE MASTER, BILLING AND COLLECTION, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, AND OVERALL HOSPITAL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT. EXPECTED DELIVERABLES OR OUTCOMES: EXPECTED OUTCOMES INCLUDE A NOTICEABLE IMPROVEMENT IN CASH FLOW AS WELL AS STAFF KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ENGAGEMENT. THIS WILL CONTRIBUTE TO A BETTER PATIENT EXPERIENCE, EFFECTIVE REVENUE CAPTURE, AN EFFICIENT BILLING PROCESS, AND MAXIMUM COLLECTION.
