The Department of Housing and Urban Development, Assistant Secretary for Community Planning and Development, awarded $2,016,283 to the Housing Authority of the County of Marin on April 1, 2026, under the Continuum of Care Program (CFDA 14.267).
The funding supports eligible activities to establish and operate projects addressing homelessness in Marin County, including permanent supportive housing for persons with disabilities, rapid rehousing, transitional housing, supportive services only, Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS), and homelessness prevention. The Continuum of Care Program is designed to promote community-wide commitment to ending homelessness, provide funding for efforts by nonprofit providers, states, and local governments to quickly house homeless individuals and families while minimizing trauma and dislocation, promote access to mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families, and optimize self-sufficiency among individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
The award covers the period of performance from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027, with place of performance in San Rafael, California. This is a Project Grant assistance type.
