Description

The arkansas museum of fine arts will hire a director of community engagement to increase the museum's capacity to deliver programs and services to residents of, and visitors to, little rock and central arkansas. This work will help the museum serve and reconnect with its community as IT makes its way out of the covid-19 pandemic and a 3-year period of construction and limited offerings. The new staff member and corresponding team will lead efforts to plan, develop, and implement fully formed experiential arts education programs and services for visitors; ensure continuity with established partners and cultivate new ones; and ensure the museum's work and activities are community-centered and guided by an awareness and understanding of the community's shared experiences during the pandemic.
