THE COPPER QUEEN LIBRARY IS DOING REMARKABLE WORK FOR ITS SIZE AND IS TRULY INTEGRATED WITH THE COMMUNITY. COPPER QUEEN HAS MADE DELIBERATE EFFORTS IN RECENT YEARS TO EXPAND ITS REACH, INCLUDING MULTIPLE EFFORTS TO ENGAGE STUDENTS THROUGH COLLABORATION WITH THE LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT. TO FURTHER BOOST LITERACY RATES, THEY HAVE FOCUSED ON EARLY LITERACY AND PARENT ENGAGEMENT IN THE NEIGHBORHOODS FARTHEST FROM THE MAIN LIBRARY, EDGING THE BORDER WITH MEXICO.
