Pueblo of pojoaque transportation program funding FY 2026

The Federal Highway Administration awarded the Pueblo of Pojoaque $373,709.37 on January 14, 2026, under the Tribal Transportation Program (CFDA 20.289) to fund transportation activities for fiscal year 2026 pursuant to the FHWA OTT program agreement.

The award supports all transportation funding provided to the Pueblo under the agreement for the fiscal year. The Pueblo of Pojoaque, a federally recognized Indian tribe based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, operates as Tribal Administrative Services and receives the funding as the ultimate recipient. Performance occurs in New Mexico. The award runs through September 30, 2026.

The Tribal Transportation Program contributes to economic development, self-determination, and employment of Indians and Native Americans by providing safe and adequate transportation and public road access to and within Indian reservations, Indian lands, and Alaska Native Village communities. The program was created in August 2025 as a separate CFDA, succeeding elements of the previous ALN 20.205.
