Description

As the agency reported it.

IT will provide a platform for farmers and ranchers to sell their produce directly to consumers promoting sustainable agricultural practices and increasing awareness of the importance of purchasing local fresh products. This will significantly enhance the ability of local farmers and ranchers to generate viable incomes while simultaneously offering consumers greater access to a wide variety of locally grown agricultural products. An increase in the number of participating farmers and consumers with higher perconsumer purchases of fresh produce are expected in response to strategic digital media promotion that encourages local residents to frequent the market. These activities will strengthen the local agricultural sector and increased economic activity in the eastern puerto rico communities with benefits for both farmers and consumers alike.
