IN ADDITION, THE AMERICORPS MEMBERS WILL LEVERAGE 10,500 VOLUNTEERS WHO WILL BE ENGAGED IN CLASSROOM ASSISTANCE, SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY-BASED ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS AND ONE-TIME COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS. THE PROGRAM WILL FOCUS ON THE CNCS FOCUS AREAS OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY AND EDUCATION. THE CNCS INVESTMENT OF $5,306,080 IN PUBLIC FUNDING WILL BE MATCHED WITH $6,450,000 IN PRIVATE FUNDING.
