To support subgranting to the nonprofit arts sector in response to and recovery from the covid-19 pandemic

The National Endowment for the Arts awarded a $150,000 Project Grant to the Arts and Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville, Inc. under the Promotion of the Arts Grants to Organizations and Individuals program (CFDA 45.024).

The grant will support subgranting to the nonprofit arts sector in Tennessee from December 2021 through November 2023 in response to and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. The Promotion of the Arts Grants to Organizations and Individuals program aims to support opportunities for public participation in the arts and arts education, integrate the arts with strategies that promote well-being and community resilience, and build capacity and infrastructure within the arts sector. This award will allow the Arts and Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville, Inc. to provide subgrants that further these goals as the nonprofit arts community recovers from the impacts of the pandemic.
