The Department of Justice Office of Justice Programs Victims of Crime awarded $497,085 to the International Rescue Committee, Inc. on October 1, 2025, under the Crime Victim Assistance/Discretionary Grants program (CFDA 16.582).
IRC will expand victim services in Maricopa and Pima Counties, Arizona through a comprehensive case management model delivering individualized safety planning, advocacy, legal and medical referrals, emotional support, financial coaching, housing and relocation assistance, and crisis intervention. Services address victims of domestic and family violence, stalking, assault, hate crimes, and community violence, with priority given to individuals with low incomes and other barriers to care. Delivery occurs virtually, in-office, or in the community based on client preference and need. Trained caseworkers supervised by experienced program leaders will coordinate service delivery and quality assurance. IRC will also conduct community trainings to strengthen the capacity of local service providers, police departments, legal aid groups, shelters, mental health providers, and health clinics to respond effectively to crime victims.
Place of performance is Glendale, Arizona. The period of performance runs from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2028. IRC is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization and child entity of International Rescue Committee, Inc., headquartered in New York.
