KEY PUBLIC SAFETY ISSUES IDENTIFIED INCLUDE SUBSTANCE MISUSE, DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, ILLEGAL DUMPING, TRESPASSING, PROPERTY DAMAGE, AND THEFT. RECOGNIZING THE INTERCONNECTED NATURE OF THESE CHALLENGES, THE TRIBE EMPHASIZES JUSTICE SYSTEM-WIDE STRATEGIC PLANNING TO ADDRESS ROOT CAUSES COMPREHENSIVELY. STRATEGIC PLANNING EFFORTS INVOLVE COLLABORATION WITH DIVERSE STAKEHOLDERS, INCLUDING TRIBAL LEADERSHIP, LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES, AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS.
