The rural domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking program

The Alaska Network On Domestic Violence And Sexual Assault, Inc. was awarded a $950,000 Project Grant from the Department of Justice Offices Boards and Divisions Office on Violence Against Women under the Rural Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking Assistance Program (CFDA 16.589). The three-year award beginning October 1, 2021 will support the delivery of victim services and training to address domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking in rural Alaska communities. Specifically, the grantee and sub-awardee Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium will provide basic and advanced training to staff of substance abuse treatment programs and victim service agencies. They will also develop and implement two new culturally relevant integrated services at each of multiple sites and provide technical assistance to facilitate coordination and information sharing between partner organizations.
