THIS HABITAT RESTORATION PROJECT IS LOCATED IN WALBRIDGE, WOOD COUNTY, OHIO WITHIN AND ADJACENT TO DRY CREEK. DRY CREEK AND ITS ADJACENT FLOODPLAIN AND WETLANDS (RIPARIAN ZONES) WILL BE RESTORED VIA EXCAVATION OF A NEW STREAM CHANNEL AND PLANTING NATIVE VEGETATION TO STABILIZE THE STREAMBANK AND CHANNEL. ACTIVITIES:ADDITIONALLY, WOOD COUNTY WILL INSTALL 480 LINEAR FEET OF FLOODPLAIN BENCH WHILE RESTORING 0.5 ACRE OF RIPARIAN WETLAND.
