This project will add green infrastructure (GI) and stormwater best management practice features, such as the installation of bioswales and stormwater trees, at south shore park, which is part of the milwaukee river estuary area of concern (AOC). Stormwater run-off will be filtered and treated by the installed GI, preventing an estimated 738,050 gallons of untreated stormwater per year from entering lake michigan.
