THIS ACTION APPROVES AN AWARD IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,000,000 TO ESCAMBIA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TO DEVELOP AND PROVIDE A MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE PENSACOLA AND PERDIDO BAYS ESTUARY PROGRAM. THE PROJECT WILL DEVELOP A COMPREHENSIVE CONSERVATION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN THAT ENCOMPASS THREE BAYS, PENSACOLA, ESCAMBIA, AND PERDIDO BAYS.
