The Housing Authority of the City of Nanticoke, a municipal government entity serving low-income residents in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, is the recipient. Performance occurs in Nanticoke, PA 18634. The award obligates $250,000 with an ultimate completion date of August 2, 2028.

This award was selected through lottery from HUD's emergency and non-presidentially declared natural disaster set-aside, which draws from approximately 2,770 eligible PHAs nationwide serving nearly one million units. The maximum grant award under this program is currently $250,000 per PHA per federal fiscal year. HUD limits eligible PHAs to one safety and security grant application annually and prohibits awards for the same development or developments that previously received safety and security funding under this program.
