DESCRIPTION:THIS AGREEMENT PROVIDES FUNDING TO THE TABLE MOUNTAIN RANCHERIA TO ASSIST WITH BUILDING THE TRIBE'S CAPACITY TO ASSESS AIR QUALITY CONDITIONS AND TO DEVELOP STRATEGIES TO REDUCE AIR POLLUTION SOURCES TO IMPROVE AIR QUALITY ISSUES. THE TRIBE WILL CONTINUE STRATEGIC PLANNING AND EVALUATION, MONITORING AIR EMISSIONS, AND OTHER PROGRAM ACTIVITIES. THIS AGREEMENT PROVIDES FULL FEDERAL FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $85,630. REFER TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS. ACTIVITIES:THE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE OPERATING AND MAINTAINING A PM2.5 AND PM10 MONITORS, COLLECTING QUALITY ASSURED AMBIENT AIR DATA, MAINTAIN QUALITY ASSURANCE PROJECT PLANS (QAPP), PROVIDING INFORMATION TO THE COMMUNITY, ATTENDING AND PARTICIPATING IN LOCAL, REGIONAL, AND NATIONAL INITIATIVES TO IMPROVE AIR QUALITY, AND SUBMITTING QUARTERLY REPORTS WITH DATA TO EPA. SUBRECIPIENT:NO SUBAWARDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.OUTCOMES:THE ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES INCLUDE QUALITY ASSURED DATA UPLOAD TO EPA'S NATIONAL AIR QUALITY DATABASE, AN UPDATED QAPP, QUARTERLY PROGRESS REPORTS, AND TRAINING CERTIFICATES THE EXPECTED OUTCOMES INCLUDE A BROADENED AWARENESS OF AIR QUALITY ISSUES AND ESTABLISHING PROGRAMS TO ADDRESS THE ATTAINMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF NATIONAL AMBIENT AIR QUALITY STANDARDS (NAQQS) AS WELL AS IMMEDIATE AND EMERGING THREATS TO PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE FROM POLLUTION.
