SSO correction: O infiltration/inflow correction O enhancement of collection system, pump station, or treatment facility capacity for the purposes of mitigating ssos O real-time control systems for SSO management O other capital projects for the purposes of mitigating or preventing the impact of stormwater on wastewater collection O planning and design activity related to an eligible capital project 3. Stormwater and subsurface drainage: gray infrastructure - conventional piped drainage and water treatment systems designed to move urban stormwater away from the built environment. Examples include: O traditional pipe, storage, and treatment systems O collection and treatment systems for reuse O real-time control systems for CSO management O sediment controls including: O filter fences O storm drain inlet protection O street sweepers O vacuum trucks - planning and design activity related to an eligible capital project green infrastructure - section 502 of the CWA defines this as '...the range of measures that use plant or soil systems, permeable pavement or other permeable surfaces or substrates, stormwater harvest and reuse, or landscaping to store, infiltrate, or evapotranspirate stormwater and reduce flows to sewer systems or to surface waters.' examples include: O green roofs, blue roofs, green streets, and green walls O rainwater harvesting collection, storage, management, and distribution systems O real-time control systems for harvested rainwater O infiltration basins O constructed wetlands, including surface flow and subsurface flow (e.g., gravel) wetlands bioretention/bioswales (e.g., rain gardens, tree boxes) O permeable pavement O wetland/riparian/shoreline creation, protection, and restoration O establishment/restoration of urban tree canopy O replacement of gray infrastructure with green infrastructure including purchase and demolition costs - planning and design activity related to an eligible capital project other capital projects for the purposes of mitigating or preventing the impact of stormwater on wastewater collection or treatment; projects RE: section 319 (non-point source program), 320 (national estuary program), 122 (watershed pilot projects) outcomes:the anticipated deliverables include plans, designs, and/or constructed overflow or stormwater infrastructure.
