DESCRIPTION:THE MIDWEST TRIBAL ENERGY RESOURCES ASSOCIATION WILL BE WORKING TO DEPLOY BOX AIR PURIFIER SUPPLIES TO AS MANY TRIBAL COMMUNITIES IN EPA REGION 5 AS POSSIBLE. INDOOR AIR QUALITY IS A CRITICAL ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ISSUE IN TRIBAL COMMUNITIES AND POOR INDOOR AIR QUALITY CAN LEAD TO INCREASED ASTHMA, ALLERGIES, ETC. DEPLOYING CORSI CUBES IN AREAS WITH POOR INDOOR AIR WILL LEAD TO BETTER HEALTH IN TRIBAL COMMUNITIES, INCLUDING FOR CHILDREN AND OTHER HIGH-RISK INDIVIDUALS. ACTIVITIES:MTERA WILL SUBAWARD FUNDS TO REGION 5 TRIBAL PARTNERS TO DEPLOY CORSI CUBE SUPPLIES. MTERA WILL ADMINISTRATIVELY ASSUME REPORTING AND GRANT MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS.SUBRECIPIENT:SUBAWARDS WILL BE ADMINISTRATED TO TRIBES TO DEPLOY CORSI CUBE SUPPLIES ACROSS TRIBAL COMMUNITIES IN EPA REGION 5.OUTCOMES:THE ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES ARE THE DEPLOYMENT OF CORSI CUBE MATERIALS TO TRIBES IN EPA REGION 5.
