Description
Public health emergency preparedness (phep) cooperative agreement - the pennsylvania department of health's (padoh) bureau of emergency preparedness and response's (bepr) integrated hospital and public health emergency preparedness model continues to build upon and support the capability of public health systems to prepare for and respond to public health threats and emergencies; as well as augment health care delivery system readiness and response. The roadmap set forth in this application allows the commonwealth to be operationally ready to execute plans, respond to, and recover from public health threats and emergencies, using the response readiness framework to build upon the prior work to strengthen capability and capacity across the fifteen public health emergency preparedness and response capabilities. By leveraging partners, both within the PA DOH and externally (including county/municipal health departments [cmhds] and healthcare coalitions [hccs]), jurisdictional coordination and collaboration is expected across planning, training, exercising, strategy development, administrative preparedness, health equity, and ultimately across public health response if required. Please refer to the attached project and budget narratives for the 5-YR period of performance.
