About this award

Irradiant Technologies Inc. will receive $799,886.46 through September 30, 2024 from the Department of Commerce National Institute of Standards and Technology under the Science, Technology, Business and/or Education Outreach federal grant program (CFDA 11.620).

The cooperative agreement will support the development of a high-throughput experimental discovery system to screen and implement new materials for 3D manufacturing of novel optical and photonic devices using Implosion Fabrication. This new nanofabrication method aims to address current limitations in available materials, speed, and possible geometries for 3D nanofabrication in the fields of optics and photonics. Irradiant Technologies expects outcomes in the form of new material discoveries and device optimizations through its research activities. Beneficiaries include the fields of materials science and optics. No subawards are planned under this cooperative agreement.
