Description

The proposed sbir phase I award effort relates to a commercialization opportunity to develop an advanced sample environment for small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) that will enable efficient experimental investigations of the behavior of materials under high pressure at large scale facilities such as the NIST center for neutron research (NCNR). This sample environment will be of interest to industrial users of SANS and directly addresses needs of nsoft, a consortium within NIST with the mission to deliver technology and expertise within neutron-based measurement science to U.S. Based industrial researchers.
