The U.S. Department of Justice's Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) awarded a $666,000 Cooperative Agreement under the OVW Technical Assistance Initiative (CFDA 16.526) to the Battered Women's Justice Project (BWJP). Through this 36-month project, BWJP will partner with 14 national organizations to provide training, technical assistance, and resources to the OVW Electronic Service Protection Order Court Pilot (ESPOC) Program grantees. The initiative aims to support ESPOC sites as they develop technologies, policies, and procedures for electronically serving civil protection orders, including on-site technical assistance and documenting lessons learned. This grant supports the OVW TA Initiative's Purpose Area 40 focused on technical assistance for the ESPOC program.
