The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) has awarded a $600,000 Cooperative Agreement under the OVW Technical Assistance Initiative (CFDA 16.526) to the Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault (IowaCASA) for a 24-month project period from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2026. This award will enable IowaCASA to continue providing national technical assistance to state and territorial sexual assault and dual coalitions. The project aims to improve and expand the response to sexual violence, strengthen collaboration with state and local partners, and support underserved communities in coalition activities. Over the project period, IowaCASA will deliver direct technical assistance, convene onsite and virtual trainings, provide mentoring, and develop/update resources as needed to address the comprehensive needs of sexual assault coalitions.
