The furnace includes a Vaisala Model DMT143 dew point monitor, Type K thermocouple, heated bubbler for wet hydrogen operation, stainless steel support table with pull-out shelf, and IDEC MicroSmart FC6A Plus control with 10-inch touch screen display. The equipment must process hydrogen or argon at a minimum of 1,600 degrees Celsius. Performance of work occurs in San Carlos, California. Delivery is required to the U.S. Army Research Laboratory at Adelphi Laboratory Center, Hyattsville, Maryland, with ultimate completion by February 18, 2027.
