Added: Aug 03, 2016 9:57 am SCOPE OF WORK: This SAP Construction project will Replace the Paint Booth Water Heating Boiler in Bldg. 505 for DLA at the Naval Support Activity (NSA) Mechanicsburg PA. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, supplies and supervision to perform the following work: Design Bid Build (DBB) Replace Paint Booth Boiler Bldg. 505 at the NSA-Mechanicsburg, PA. The project shall consist of replacing the water heating boiler for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation Support paint booth in building 505. The construction work shall be in accordance with all applicable codes, standards and regulations. The work for this project includes: • Removal of the existing oil fired water boiler. • Installation of new, dual fuel fired water boiler. • Installation of reduced pressure principle backflow preventer on incoming potable water service. A Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued for the solicitation to obtain competitive proposals which will result in the award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) SAP Construction Contract. The contract will be procured using competitive proposals and will be solicited and awarded using the SAP procedures of FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Construction Procedures contained in FAR Part 36 (as required) as it has been determined to be the most advantageous method of procurement.. Estimated Magnitude: Between $ 100,000.00 and $ 250,000.00 Number of Days in Contract: ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-FIVE (135) Days Number of Bid Items: ONE (1) CLIN NAICS CODE: 238220 - PLUMBING, HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING CONTRACTORS, Small Business Size Standard $15.0 Million. SET ASIDE: This acquisition shall be set aside 100% for SMALL BUSINESS in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside (Nov 11).
