THE SURFACE WILL BE CLEANED TO REMOVE THE EXISTING COATING IN AREA WHERE IT IS FLAKING AND DETERIORATED. IN AREAS WHERE THE CONCRETE SURFACE IS DAMAGED OR THE CONCRETE HAS DETERIORATION WILL BE DOCUMENTED THE CONTRACTOR WILL TEST THE MONUMENT S MOISTURE LEVELS AND PROVIDE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ADDITIONAL TREATMENTS IF REQUIRED.
