Description

Other, removed old fence components will be recycled. Install wire mesh fencing at historic D and pierce ranches, point reyes national seashore, marin county, california. This amendment modifies the scope of work to eliminate wood posts and H-braces from fence and replace with steel corner/end posts. Intermediate galvanized T-posts to remain in scope. Fences to be taut and strong enough to withstand pressure by wildlife. The due date for submittal of quotes is extended to wednesday, september 9, 2015. This amendment documents the "questions and answers" from the august 31ST site visit, including on-site clarifications, and provides the revised scope of work noting the following changes: at each site, keep existing fence enclosures in place until new fencing is completed. At D ranch, change (1) 4' wide gate to (1) 10' wide 6'6" tall gate to accommodate driving into site (vehicle entrance between shed/fence line), using corner post by building (recommend meyer gate by martins ranch supply or equivalent). There are a total of (3) gates for D ranch and (3) gates for pierce ranch, majority being 4' wide and 6'6" tall except change as noted above. See project maps for approximate locations. Note: all gates to contain wire mesh to avoid passage by large wildlife into fenced area.
