Added: Feb 24, 2016 11:45 am This is a notice of intent, not a request for proposal. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition bases with Maple Leaf Medical HIV Research Collaborative, 14 College St Suite 301, Toronto, ON, Canada, MSG1K2 to evaluate and screen their cohort of accurate/early treated HIV-infected individuals for possible NIH enrollment in a clinical protocol. Screening, medical records, and interview of 50 patients to lead to an NIH enrollment of 24 of the screened patients, and medical specimens (blood 9 ACD tubes, 4 EDTA tubes). Maple Leaf Medical HIV Research Collaborative has the experience is recruiting and retaining a rare population of HIV-infected individuals who initiated antiretroviral therapy during the acute/early phase of infection.
