The Department of Veterans Affairs, VHA Regional Procurement Office Central, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC), located at 115 South 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI, 53214- 1476 intends to enter into a firm-fixed price sole source contract with Kreg Therapeutics, Inc., 1940 Janice Avenue, Melrose Park, Illinois, 60160-1009, IAW FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (i.e. brand-name). It is the Government s belief the proposed candidate is the only source with the required capabilities to successfully meet the acquisition requirement. The Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Nursing Services determined the E-Z Wider Bariatric Chair Bed is the only product capable of meeting the acquisition requirement. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 339113 and the Business Size Standard is 750 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents are available at this time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
