Added: Apr 23, 2018 10:55 am NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE The SAO East/NCO 6 Contracting Office, Hampton, Virginia, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Geo-Med, LLC (DUNS: 166569850) under the authority of VAAR 819.7007, authorizing sole source awards to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns without further determination that more than one (1) SDVOSB concern is available to meet the requirement. This purchase order will be to supply surgical packs to the Asheville VAMC for a period of performance of 6/1/18 tu 5/31/19. The Asheville VAMC requires these surgical packs to carry out various surgical procedures within the facility. This purchase will be made under Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items of FAR 13.5 is 41 U.S.C. 1901 and is implemented for restricting competition on this procurement via FAR 13.106-1 (b)(2). The anticipated award date is 1 June 2018. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 15 May 2018 at 4 pm Eastern Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors who can provide Surgical Packs for the Asheville Charles George VAMC. The CGVAMC is seeking an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle for procurement of goods to support the Custom Sterile Procedure Pack Program. This includes the production and delivery of individualized custom procedure packs to the CGVAMC. The procurement is anticipated to be a base + 4 option years contract. The surgical packs required are as follows; Cysto ENT Open Heart Basin Total Knee Total Hip Shoulder Artoscopy Chest Open Heart Cataract Endovascular Carotid General Surgery Knee Artoscopy ** Individual items for each pack will be listed in the solicitation All responses shall be submitted no later than _30 March 2018_______________.
