Work is performed in Chesterton, Indiana and covers bi-annual preventative maintenance (cooling and heating seasons) and Building Automation System verification, calibration, troubleshooting, and diagnostics at two park facilities: Good Fellow Lodge (Howe Road, Porter, Indiana) and Paul H. Douglas Environmental and Learning Center (North Lake Street, Gary, Indiana). The Paul H. Douglas Center operates Schneider Electric MNB-1000 controllers; Good Fellow Lodge operates a Johnson Controls JACE 9000 system. Lead technicians must hold Illinois HVAC, air conditioning, Freon recovery, EPA Section 608 refrigerant, and universal refrigeration licenses; assigned technicians must hold Indiana Board of Licensures certification.
