Work consists of removing an inoperable 5 horsepower submersible pump and motor system installed since November 2024, performing diagnostic inspection of the casing, screen, static water level, and well depth, and installing a replacement 20 horsepower 480-volt 3-phase submersible pump rated for 65 gallons per minute, three-inch galvanized drop pipe, appropriately sized electrical cable, control box with electric float switch and lightning arrestor, brass check valves, and supporting equipment. The pump motor must be stainless steel AISI 303 or better rated 480 volt 60 Hz 3-phase with maximum 3,600 RPM. The contractor must furnish performance data and specifications, conduct functional and disinfection testing with 50 ppm chlorine solution, and provide a 12-month defect warranty. Performance and Payment Bonds are required within 10 calendar days of award.
