Added: Jun 08, 2017 4:00 pm DLA Aberdeen anticipates issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about June 26, 2017, for NSN: 5965-01-549-6390, Handset. This spare is used in various Army radios, most notably the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS), a very high frequency radio that provides voice and data communication for ground vehicles. The Government owns the technical data package (TDP) for this NSN and will be attached to the solicitation. An Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with one five-year base period and no option periods will be awarded. The NAICS code for this item is 334310. The RFP will be issued using full and open competition after exclusion of sources. Furthermore, based on market research, the Government will use the policies contained in FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiations. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Estimated Value for the contract is $25,000. This estimate is provided for planning purposes only and does not represent a guarantee by the Government. A guaranteed minimum will be provided for year one (1) of the contract only and will be issued with the first delivery order. Delivery is to the DLA Distribution Facility in New Cumberland, PA (W25G1U). The Government's required rate of delivery is up to 10,000 per month. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered an RFP. Added: Mar 02, 2017 12:57 pm The Government intends to acquire NSN: 5965-01-549-6390 Handset/ H-250B/G, in accordance with Army Drawing SM-D-889337. The H-250B/G handset voice signal shall include a built-in volume control. The rotary volume control is positioned for easy access for either thumb or finger operation. It shall include a built-in 2.5mm phone jack and an audio jack. Used with a vast number of radios in the Army Fleet.This would be a Five (5) years IDIQ Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract(s). The maximum quantity for the first- year "only" is 10,000 each of the Handset. The purpose of this survey is to locate sources that have the capability of manufacturing and/or supplying these components.The range quantities breakout are: Range A: 1-5000, Range B: 5001-10000, Range C: 10001-15000, Range D: 15001-20000.The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The US Government is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals.This is not a solicitation; no award will be made as a result of this request. The Government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey.
