About this award
This is a delivery order awarded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Glenn Research Center to Zin Technologies, Inc., an experienced developer of ground and flight systems for aerospace applications. The $2,443,456.00 delivery order is for Zin Technologies to provide an architecture development environment to produce designs for NASA's next generation space communication systems supporting both NASA's Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate (HEOMD) and Science Mission Directorate (SMD). This delivery order consolidates and replaces four previous support service contracts, requiring concrete deliverables. The contract does not have a set-aside designation.
Description
The scan center for engineering, networking, integration, and communications (scenic) is developing an architecture development environment to produce designs for NASA's next generation space communication systems. Scenic users will produce designs that NASA will translate into communication flight hardware supporting both NASA's human exploration and operations mission directorate (heomd) as well as NASA's science mission directorate (SMD). This delivery order requires that the contractor provide the architecting environment meeting requirements specified both herein, as well as in the attached scenic requirements spreadsheet. This delivery order consolidates and supplants four previous support service contracts that did not require concrete deliverables to one delivery order that specifies products to be delivered to NASA and enables a single contractor to manage a team to deliver that product.
