Added: Apr 07, 2011 11:04 pm This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside source selection procurement. This procurement is to award an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract for painting construction services for various locations on Guam. The contract shall provide painting construction services including, but not limited to, interior and exterior painting, surface preparation on previously painted and unpainted buildings, application of new paint, taping and spackling work, replacement of caulking and puttying, repair of flashings/sheet-metal, repair of concrete cracks and spalls, cutting/trimming of trees and subs (obstructing performance of work), painting of pavement markings, and incidental related work. The contract will be awarded with a minimum guarantee of $25K for the base period only. The contract term will be a base period and two option periods. The contract amount is estimated at $10M for each period with a total aggregate maximum of $30M. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal, conforming to the solicitation, is determined to provide the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 238320, Painting and Wall Covering Contractors, and the annual size standard is $14M. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for Friday, 06 May 2011, at 0900 at NAVFAC Marianas Building 102, U.S. Naval Base Guam. Interested attendees requiring base access must submit a Base Access Request form by email to teresa.aguon@fe.navy.mil NO LATER THAN 27 April 2011 Guam time. Offerors can view and download the solicitation at https://www.neco.navy.mil when it becomes available on or about 25 April 2011.
