SDVOSB Multiple Award Construction Contract, Various Locations, Guam
Added: Apr 01, 2011 2:01 am This is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside source selection procurement with the intent to award in the order of five indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type multiple award construction contracts for general construction services at various locations on Guam and outlying islands. The contract term will be a base period and two option periods. The guaranteed minimum is $10K for the base period only. The aggregate contract amount is the combined total of all awarded contracts for each respective period. The aggregate contract amount is estimated at $10M for each period with a contract maximum of $30M. Award will be made to the responsible offerors whose proposals represent the best value to the Government from a technical and price standpoint. After award of the initial contracts, the awardees will compete for task orders based on either best value or lowest price technically acceptable to the Government. The North American Industry Classification System code is 236220 – Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a size standard of $33.5M for this solicitation. Offerors can view and download the solicitation at https://www.neco.navy.mil when it becomes available on or about 15 April 2011. The due date for receipt of proposals is approximately 30 calendar days from the date of issuance of the solicitation. All interested offerors shall register at the website. Added: Jun 24, 2011 3:00 am The work to be performed is for general construction services at various locations on Guam and outlying areas in the Pacific. The work under the contract will generally provides for all labor, materials, equipment, permit and clearances and other incidental work required for the project. Other incidental work required includes any and all items and considerations necessary to insure a complete and usable final product, including, but not limited to, the necessary design and construction considerations not specifically stated elsewhere in the statement of work. SD Joint Venture was awarded the first task order 0001 at $98,800 for the repair of the outdoor deck at Bldg. 295, Top of the Mar, Nimitz Hill, Guam. Work for this task order is expected to be completed by Oct. 2011. The remaining six (6) contractors were awarded $10,000 each for the base period minimum guarantee.
