Calibration of gauges, meters, thermometers, and test equipment will be done "In Place", i.e., aboard the ship unless otherwise specified in the Delivery Order (DO)/Task Order (TO). Repairs and/or replacement of gauges, meters, thermometers, and test equipment will be conducted either “In Place”, i.e., aboard the ship or "Shop Repaired", i.e., at the contractor's facility. It should be noted that "Shop Repair" will still require some work to be performed on the ship.
