Description
This task order will provide contractor support for the daily operation of the CPC to enable successful achievement of its research and education mission. This task order requires support for research that is in a constant state of change because IT is based on global events. Support for this demands a much greater degree of flexibility than would be provided under a fixed price type of task order. A time & material task order must be used because IT is not possible, at this time with any level of accuracy, to determine the level of effort that will be required. The CPC's mission is in direct support of critical air force intelligence and counterproliferation initiatives so IT is very difficult to determine quantifiable levels of effort and deliverables until the research topics have been identified to the CPC. Definite costs that would allow for other contract types such as firm fixed price cannot be accurately quantified to a degree that would allow for any other contract type due to the dynamic environment necessary to sustain the CPC operational environment. Historical invoice data from previous contract actions is available, and this information was used to develop the independent government
