Using a five-year IDIQ contract (base year plus four option years), pre-qualified vendors will be requested to provide proposals for the manufacture, shipping and warranty support of generators and related accessories ranging in size from 25 KVA to approximately 1000 KVA. The purpose of this solicitation is to identify multiple vendors which can provide the products and services identified herein. DoS plans to award multiple Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for one base year and four subsequent one-year options, at the option of the Government. The IDIQ awards will be made to the responsive Offerors, whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and offers the Best Value to the Government, whereas technical considerations are more important than cost.
