Added: Jun 18, 2009 1:12 pm RECOVERY: PRE-SOLICTATION NOTICE FOR CONSERVATION OF THE UNION SOLDIERS MONUMENT AT THE KNOXVILLE NATIONAL CEMETERY. This project is being funded from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, is soliciting bids under Solicitation Number VA-786A-09-RA-0046 for the following: Contractor shall provide all professional services, labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for comprehensive repair, conservation, cleaning and other treatment as necessary of the Monumental Arch in Nashville National Cemetery, 1420 Gallatin Road, South, Madison, TN 37115-4619, in accordance with the project deliverables and tasks. The project is to conserve and repair the Monumental Arch in Nashville National Cemetery, Madison, Tennessee. Constructed circa 1870, the limestone arch is approximately 32' high by 25' wide, and is located along Gallatin Road, at the entrance to the cemetery. Proposals will be evaluated on the following factors in descending order 1. Technical Qualifications, 2. Past Performance and 3. Price. Factors 1 and 2 when combined are equal to price. CONTRACT DURATION: Performance period is approximately 90 calendar days from date of receipt of Notice To Proceed. NAICS CODE: 712120 SIZE STANDARD: $7.0 Million METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-RICE SERVICE CONTRACT UNDER FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 15 to a responsible business responding to this solicitation.
